Doors & Windows #11

We have a few old and traditional houses in our town. I think they were built during World War 2. I’ve never been inside one but I did take photos of their doors. This one is from 1943.

  1. Beautiful, Wassim. I’m not certain that I’m seeing this correctly. Is the door itself only the portion “outlined” where the doorknob appears in the middle? Or, do you think that the whole arched doorway opens up down the middle? With the smaller door set into one-half of a larger door?

    • yeah all of it opens. the whole arched door AND the smaller one. I think they usually use the smaller one for people and the bigger one for stuff that can’t get through the small one.
