Doors & Windows #11

We have a few old and traditional houses in our town. I think they were built during World War 2. I’ve never been inside one but I did take photos of their doors. This one is from 1943.

Mesteerean Sunrise

I woke up real early this morning and I couldn’t go back to sleep. I usually hate it when that happens but today it was an opportunity. I’ve been wanting to get some sunrise photos for a while but I always ended up oversleeping. (I sleep very late. It’s been around 3 or 4 years since the last time I went to bed before midnight!) Anyways, I got this photo and a few more which I will post later.

The time window was really short. I used it all up in pretty much one location. Next time, I’ll plan it right and get a variety of locations.

A Walk in the Night 26/04/2017

Around two hours ago, I went out for a walk and I took a few shots for my Ingrained in the Night series.

Only three of the photos were decent enough to consider adding to the collection.

The Pest of Plastic Bags

Yesterday, I went for a shoot outside and I couldn’t walk 10 steps without seeing plastic bags on the ground or floating around.

Once I reached the area in the photos, I had to take some photos in support of the recent ban of plastic bags in Tunisia (my country).

Even if you take the bags away, the photos are not as beautiful as most landscapes and that’s not the point of this collection. Wherever the place is, it is still a patch of our Earth and it doesn’t feel right seeing it polluted.

I took these on one location so imagine how many photos I can take if I go looking for plastic bags in the entire town and then maybe someone else will do the same in their hometown and so on… We’d definitely see the true horror of plastic bags.

On Earth Day, I want to show you the Earth I don’t want to see.

Weekly Photo Challenge: It IS easy Being Green

Green is generally associated with nature. Although I make it a point in life to challenge popular belief and common sense, I’ll have to go with the flow in order to share these photos that I took two days ago. It is spring after all.

I hope you like them.
